WHAT
WE DO
Team-days - effective and enjoyable one-day teambuilding courses. Team-days are ideally for numbers between 6 and 20, although larger teams can be accommodated. Our Team-days can be run virtually anywhere. On or off site, the choice is yours. Team-days are an affordable way to begin forging strong and effectively bonded teams who are working towards a common objective. Team-days are suitable for both new and existing teams at all levels, work-based or mixed, and will suit all levels of fitness and ability. All Team-days are always designed and facilitated by the same Each Team-day is tailored to your needs and is therefore unique, depending on specific objectives, location and make-up of the team. As an example, a day may begin with a classroom introduction to some of the keys to effective teamwork followed by an extended task linked to an appropriate theme. A variety of tasks and exercises will need to be completed at each stage of the day, ranging from purely cerebral to challenging but not threatening outdoor tasks. The diversity ensures that a comprehensive range of skills will be utilized such as planning, logical thinking, communication and listening, and of course teamwork. Review sessions are an important part of all Team-days. The extent depends on your requirements. At one end of the spectrum for example, a 'fun' day out purely and simply to develop team spirit, may include the minimum time spent on review. On the other hand a Team-day designed to meet very specific and focused learning objectives would have more input, and may also include our optional post-team-day evaluations. Post-team-day evaluations enable Costings on application - approximate price guide below: Events with larger numbers or multiple workshops can be quoted on a more cost effective basis. |

Optional Post-team-day evaluations are from £200 per group. Team away-days Our recent study shows that awareness of self and others is the most important learning outcome from an experiential learning event. Our teambuilding workshops therefore focus on allowing the individual to raise their level of awareness in a non-threatening, friendly environment away from the workplace. In order to allow time for delegates to 'norm' together and relax, these workshops are always residential and of between 2 and 5 days duration. Ideal numbers are between 10 and 20, but any number can be accommodated. Venues can be arranged anywhere in the UK but the 2 locations we favour are : 1. In the pleasant Oxfordshire countryside, close to the historic City of Oxford. (excursions can be arranged if required) 2. The rather more remote and exciting environment of the Welsh mountains. Specific venues at each location can range from 'no frills' dormitory style, to country house hotels with luxurious accommodation and facilities. The choice is yours - whatever your budget The basic 2 day Team Workshop would include extensive discussion with you prior to the event to determine precise objectives and desired learning outcomes.. We can if you wish, visit your workplace to finalize the programme and meet the delegates to answer any questions they may have. This pre-workshop visit would normally be for one half day. Personal learning objectives are completed by each delegate. The subsequent programme is likely to involve an extended themed exercise comprising indoor and outdoor tasks. Tasks will be team-based, they may be competitive, and would typically be designed to develop problem-solving, planning, teambuilding and communication skills. The tasks would be linked to a common end, and be sufficiently diverse in nature to satisfy all styles of learner, from theorist to activist. Other skills such as negotiation, creativity, conflict handling, leadership, flexibility and more, can be specifically targeted at your request. Recent research undertaken by Our post workshop evaluations provide you with profiles of all the delegates. These typically would include a report on attitude, involvement and performance, and will also suggest further development needs for individuals where appropriate. Costings on application - approximate price guide below: Residential workshop - from £100 per person/day (based on a group of 21 delegates, full board) |

Pre-workshop visit - from £200 Provision of individual action plans - POA Post-workshop evaluation - from £350 per group Training needs analysis Organisations can often spend large sums of money on irrelevant and inappropriate training. Problems can sometimes exist for which there is no immediate training solution - training and development must be targeted and clearly linked to a specific objective if it going to be effective. If you are unsure of your needs, or want to make absolutely sure you are making the right decisions for people development, we can visit you, assess your needs and produce a full diagnostic report. Our CIPD membership ensures that we remain at the cutting edge of current thinking, and our consultancy background and recent academic research study ensures our continued credibility and expertise. Our analysis can start from a one-day to assess need across a specific department or perhaps functional area e.g. handling change or conflict, and may include coaching or mentoring plans for key individuals. More comprehensive diagnostic analyses would typically involve several days and be more likely to be organisation based, offering a full report suggesting appropriate training solutions. We may recommend our Team-days or Team Workshops, but equally may draw on our academic background in business and management to suggest perhaps a classroom-based course on other skills such as effective presentation, problem-solving, or personal leadership. Price Guide Training needs analysis visits - £500 per day/consultant Diagnostic report - from £300. |
